Andrew Pritchard documented the damaging bow echo that plowed through northern Illinois on June 18, 2010. He experienced hurricane force winds, gusting to 70+ mph near DeKalb, IL! The beginning features a time lapse of the leading edge of this mesoscale system, as it approached and eventually overtook his position!
