I'm purely a weather "watcher", who loves to see great pics, live streams & videos of severe weather. I guess I'm so enthralled by it because I've lived through several really close calls from tornadoes passing overhead while hiding in closets as the doors get blown off the house & huge trees are pulled up by the roots. Whenever I watch "Twister", it brings all those memories back of being a kid & getting woken up in the middle of the night to horrible storms (Eastern AR between Little Rock and Jonesboro)--running under the clothesline trying to get to this little pump shed we used for a storm house---dodging lightning....etc. I guess we all can relate to that movie...wanting to see up in the core of that monster. I live in Ft. Smith, AR, next to the OK border, so we see plenty of good storms. Eastern AR is not officially in Tornado Alley, but it sure felt like it growing up!
I'm unable to get out & chase, but I feel like all the chasers are good friends, even though we've never met. Just from following you all online has made me care a great deal about you. Since I found out about TVN 2 years ago, I've made many friends and it's opened up a whole new world for me. So, have a great chase season, everyone, and above all, be careful!
