Everyone except for my Grandmother, she was born and raised is Oklahoma, what part, that I don't know. She remembers tornadoes and what her family had to do during one in the night. Which I must say, at night, is the worst time, because at night, you can't see it coming, now in the day, you can, which makes it not so surprising, because you are awake, and not asleep.
What I mean when I say they don't understand. I study them more than anyone else in the family, and I'm still in High School, so that makes it funny. But when ever there is severe weather, I am glued to the radar on my laptop, and looking out the window.
They can't stand it. I watch the weather so I can warn them and my other family members that are not that far away, to let them know so they can seek shelter.
And the reason I keep looking out the window, is if I see something, I can get a picture of it, and then tell them what I saw, since I have a digital 8 meg pixel camera I can quickly show them, and run for cover.
I study them, because they are interesting, they are like a mystery, like how they actually form? And why they suck things up?
And it is interesting how the storm chasers go out there, and get the information. What they do, sounds really exiting.
And my family are supposed to be going out to Oklahoma, next month, for a family reunion, and I have asked them already.. If you see anything get a picture for me! If you meet a storm chaser, interview them for me!
I have always wanted to meet a storm chaser, and ask,
them what is it like being there next to the tornado?
