Today I received my GPS receiver in the mail and was able to get it installed with microsoft street and trips in the Jeep.

I also built a laptop mount using about $35 worth of galvanized pipe from home depot. Pictures will be posted tomorrow.

Making quick work of this Jeep. I'm currently awaiting the Pro 433 scanner and rear amber strobe, then it'll be completed (until i purchase a ham radio).

I've made some awesome progress with gear for my Jeep. Many of you guys have helped me out with gear choices for radios, gps, etc. I owe a lot of the choices and help to KG4LEO, helped me out with possible legal issues and gave feedback for every purchase.

I'm very eager to learn and get out on the first season. Hopefully once we get into the season i'll be able to meet up with some of you experienced chasers and take pointers to get myself going in the right direction.

First "chase" I've actually been on while we were chasing instead of being chased. Posted videos of I70 destruction in the report section.

Supercell we were tracking was SW of Junction City, by the time i was able to hit the road and get to Junction city it was dissipating rapidly and really didn't see anything other than extremely heavy amounts of rain.

Overall, it was a good experience. Got me thinking of what i need to keep with me in my vehicle and got some good experience driving the Jeep in high winds, which was interesting.
