Haha! Those raccoons are tough little guys! My dog hates when they come at night, but they don't seem too scared at him! They'll have staring contests all night long!

I'm jealous!! I've never been to Yellowstone...It has to be one of the most Amazing places I've seen and heard of...Just the setting there is so beautiful. I'd love to see it in Winter!

We get a lot of Coyotes here as well...such beautiful creatures and it's sad to see the construction going on in my area as well. Haven't seen a wildcat before, but we have plenty of Raccoons who looove the fish in our pond!
The fires are another big problem for a lot of SoCal...Last year we had the Freeway-Complex fire about a quarter mile from our house...pretty frightening!! Not the same thrill as you might get from a tornado!

Bye the way, awesome pics yourself! Love the pic with the deer! I Just saw a family of 4 deer passing by my house over the weekend, but never been that close to one! They have to be some of my favorite animals to see around my hills! Just love the wildlife out here in SoCal!
