I am currently in the process of digitizing older pictures and video of storms I captured. They are not of the greatest quality storms, but something to share anyway.

When I was about five years old I remember being in a violent storm where I grew up in Chelsea, Michigan. I remember being so scared I threw up my strawberry sundae I had just eaten before the storm. Since then storms have excited me to no end. I always wanted it to storm and would judge the summers here in Michigan depending on how many violent storms there were. I still long to have the opportunity to be in the midwest during tornado season and hope I can do that someday. I remember being outside during a storm taking lightning pictures (of course with a metal tripod), and video taping them as well- as soon as I was able to borrow my grandparents Video recorder. I remember people always looked at me like I was crazy!!... When I was 19 years old I worked at Hatch Stamping Co. in Chelsea Michigan. During a brief tornado outbreak during the summer of 1993 I was ecstatic to say the least- however I was also on the clock. This did not stop me from grabbing my camera and snapping a few pictures of a funnel cloud. While others were running for their lives and taking cover, I was outside taking pictures. That was my first funnel cloud sighting ever! However it didn't end up touching the ground and only left me wanting more (however there was one in that same storm that ravaged Pinckney recreation area, with evidence still visible today). I have to say that I feel at home here, with all of the other weather buffs, and look forward to talking, eating, sleeping and dreaming of Storms and Tornados! Thanks to Reed Timmer for making this all possible!
