This afternoon, (Wednesday June 17), the black rain clouds rolled south, it hasn't rained here in about 2-3 weeks... Anyway, I saw a bunch of swirling clouds above my house... sorta like "wind eddies" I guess. I live in a sorta tri-river valley/mountainous city... Kamloops, BC Canada... ...well, nothing more than a bunch of wind resulted, followed by rain... I did use my digital camera to record this fun. I've never seen a tornado in person. I was hoping to catch one to film. But, maybe it's impossible for this location. John

I have never encountered that myself but that is something we need to know about - thanks. I'll let the tech people know about it.

My cousin was chasing that storm. The tornado was 5 miles west of Aurora,Nebraska, and damaged a farmhouse. Unsure about any injuries.

The NWS has apparently issued an emergency for Aurora NE... It's pitch black and the spotter network shows a lot of people on the storm. Additionally a new storm has formed in Iowa which is now producing a very strong tornado. Anyone have a stream of it?

Looks like twistex had either a gustnado or a close range tornado on the ground... Great hook on that cell with good positioning... Rapid rotation on that wall cloud... Awesome stream.. Good job!!!

I'm talking about the banner ads on the bottom and top of the chaser map. The ones that appear on the videos are okay. It's just the one specific credit reports canada ad that's doing it (it literally takes up 99% of my cpu cycles no matter what PC I'm on so I can't do anything). EDIT: MN storm is just absolutely spectacular on radar. Apparently this thing already dropped a tornado in MN, recently. Someone on storm track has commented there are cars on roofs....
Storms popping up across south eastern minnesota, most of the cells are tornado warned, havent heard anything confirmed, just radar indicated... its exciting, first really severe weather outbreak for MN, we've had a quite spring and early summer

You can click the little (teeny tiny) x in the right-hand corner of the ad to make it disappear. ;) (Kansas does not look to be under the gun tomorrow, by the way http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/outlook/day2otlk.html)

I see Reed is by Hastings,Ne. Thats about 40-50 miles from where my parents are (Geneva). I'm just hoping they don't get hammered. I heard there is a good possibility of strong to severe storms in central Kansas tomorrow? Can anyone confirm that?? I'd appreciate it.
