A classic dryline setup will materialize this afternoon and evening across western OK and extreme Northwest Texas, with a strong low-level jet forecast to develop over this area by 00z. Given ~3000 J/kg CAPE, sufficient moisture, and strong low-level and deep layer shear, tornadic supercells will be likely from I-40 south to the Red River in western OK. Our Live Video Streaming will be activated this afternoon, including 4 independent storm chasing teams. Check out this new feature at the "Live Tracker" paged linked above. Stay tuned for updates!

May the tornadoes be plentiful and strike nothing but open prairies.
Dean Schoeneck, John Harris, and I will be leaving the house in Norman within the next 20 minutes and head towards the Lawton area. We will be streaming on Stream 3.
Things are starting to come together ATTM, with dews in the 60s coming into Oklahoma and the models forecasting LARGE hodographs. Everyone be careful out there!
Wow, *four* cams, can't help but think you are all loaded and ready for bear, in a matter of speaking. ^_^ Good luck and have a safe chase today! :)
Ok i apologize for being off topic, but OMG I just made a print screen of the forecast page, too exciting: 40% chance thundershowers tomorrow afternoon in Regina. I'm sure they'll change their mind before then, but...how exciting!!!! =)
The live streaming works perfect.
now i can follow you guy's from behind my pc at home (netherlands)
i hope you will have some good luck @ finding some good storms!
The SPC now has southerwesten OK under a Moderate risk - hatched area of tornadoes :) also a 45% chance of large hail.

Good luck guys, this could be it!
hey who is TVN 3?
Live Tracker just made another storm chasing widow...and I have my son sucked in as well...thanks for this great site and safe tracking all. btw...son got all A+'s in Meteorology in his grade school...loves weather.
Can anyone see any of the other cams? All I see is TVN stream 3, and it keeps stopping.
I'm also having that problem with the cams. Maybe they're not connected yet?
Ditto on stream 3 only, sporatic...looking like a nice intercept on a building bad boy though...
one vortex siggy on the SW edge already on the Wichita Falls storm
We are Stream 3, currently near Lawton. I wish the connection was better for the streaming!
* TORNADO WARNING FOR... NORTHWESTERN WICHITA COUNTY IN NORTHERN TEXAS... EASTERN WILBARGER COUNTY IN NORTHERN TEXAS...
Wow amazing video Dave!
Anyone know why i might only be getting a black screen for the live stream? its playing and all but its just black. ive tried reloading the page a whole bunch of times.
Storm Report has a brief touchdown North of Electra. That storms looks intense on radar!
Im chasing this cell, I haven't seen a tornado. I did a core punch. :) I got penny sized hail and very heavy rains but nothing more, Now i'm looking at what everyone's been talking about, still, no funnel, but a very disturbing image.
Nice southeast mover!!! I hate data holes!
Thats no moon...........
thats a space station
Dean and Dave had incredible structure on their live video feed earlier, damn the data holes....
I got a very breif touch down of a very skinny tornado about 10 minutes ago, sadly, it didn't last long, it was still great to see, and I saw some more hail, still only dime to penny size. I'm still with the storm, about to depart.
Yes, stream one is back up!
Heading north now back to Lawton... hopefully something goes up in the good moist environment... anything to our NE isnt going to get it done with spreads of 20 degrees +.
Good luck everyone! Go for it!!!

I can't believe I missed a live stream from Holder's car...
I'm upset all the way up here in Canada... well, that, and I can't dominate Holder at poker this or subsequent weeks...
Something great is happening... severestudios are on it...live stream too!
how do i watch the live video?
This is becoming a bust..... AGAIN!!!!!!!!
Live feed cuts out seconds after i load the page and will not work properly
Good luck guys! A storm is coming, but I don't know much about tornado activity.. I heard that a tornado hit in Northwest Wichita County, I'm in Southern Wichita Falls. Good luck again, and I wanna see some live streaming, that's amazing you guys can stream that, how is that possible?
This has NOT been a bust. I got my 2nd tube of the year today! and now more very strong storms are firing.
out of curiousity, anyone else having issues with the live feed?? everytime I try to load it I get an IE error msg and the window shuts down. been trying all day
It's not working for me either.
Are you going to post any photos here Zack (or somewhere else)?
I have to make this quick. SW of Wichita Falls now, have seen wallclouds w/multiple funnels. still waiting for one to touch down :)
I will be posting videos and pictures of everything I see this week this weekend smudge
Take a look at this!!! http://texastailchaser.com/livechase/
or there...
http://www.severestudios.com/livechase
Those guys are also chasing tonight
I'm sure everything will be fonctionnal (live stream) soon...it's surely not simple to install... don't give up guys! You're the greatests!
We got a brief tornado. Now I'm going to show up an hour late for my physics exam!
Where was this tornado Corey???
I'm now on my way back home. We made it to Wichita Falls about 30 minutes after that first supercell was declared dead, but we were immediately able to head south to those two supercells that formed later.
We had to make a slight core punch, but luckily we missed the main hail, and the largest it got was quarter sized. As soon as we emerged, we were within a half-mile of a massive rotating wall cloud. Multiple funnels formed, but I never saw anything touch down.
Eventually that storm fell apart, and we headed to the Archer City storm. We followed that storm until sunset, and it had another incredible wall cloud on it, but the funnels once again never reached the ground.
Even though I didn't bag any tornadoes, I would call this a successful chase. Plus the lightning was awesome. I will post video tonight or tomorrow.
Caro, we managed to get on the Witchita cell. The touchdown was pretty brief...the wall cloud was absolutely spectacular, so the storm must have choked right as it was producing. The inflow was amazing!
In other news, a beautiful LP cell overtook Birchburnett and caused complete hysteria...we drove through an eerily deserted downtown while the sirens blared; when I turned on the radio, some poor DJ was clearly rattled and saying callers had reported a tornado.
So was it a bust today or what? It seems to be these projected bid days have all crapped out. Maybe things will turn around later this week, it still early.
We got the tornado near elektra just as it was touching down. We were right along the Red River just on the OK side, and then got blasted by the core just as it was starting to dominate.
We thought the initial NE movement would bring it about 2 miles north of the Red...but it didn't happen.
Congrats to SS on the streaming of the hose
We were unable to stream for tv reasons...but will be boosting the data equipment of the other 3 streams for the events later this week.
Unfortunately when we were looking at the wall cloud/developing tornado that was one of the only times we actually had sufficient internet data to stream! Southwest OK is brutal as I'm sure all the chasers know.
I'll be posting the video and pictures later tonight in the reports thread of the forum
Congrats on your first tornado Corey!!!
Thanks Reed! The Subaru got a close-range christening.
wow the live gps tracker shows some huge storm system developing in kansas...could be only a severe storm or maybe a tornado...
Congratz Reed on you're first one of the year, may it be followed by many more (that of course avoid most structures)
Moderate issued on the newest 2 day, with strong tornadoes possible!!
Yeah Wednesday looks huge, especially on the GFS!
Boo! I missed the live feed :( Sounded amazing...except that I heard you guys missed the brief tornado touchdown. That stinks. Maybe Wednesday will be promising! :)
