A tornado watch has been issued for much of eastern OK, southeast KS, southwest MO, and northwest AR from 8:45 am until 4:00 pm this afternoon as the cold front/dryline combo begins to move eastward.  Storms are already firing along the front from northern OK northeastward, and these storms will have the chance of producing tornadoes, especially after noon.  0-1 km helicities are currently in the 300-400 m2/s2 range with CAPEs of 2000 J/kg and no CIN in Oklahoma.  Stay tuned for updates as this severe weather outbreak unfolds.

Yes right now there are several tornado warnings out in Eastern MO, with one looking like good rotation on GR3. Sure hope no one is getting hurt. Reed how do you think Thursday looks at this point?

"TORNADOS DO NOT COME HERE IN CHICAGO.THIS CITY IS SUPER BORING.COULDNT THERE BE A LITTLE ACTION!!!!!!!!!!"

Sorry friend, but you are greatly misinformed. Tornadoes do in fact strike Chicago.
If the conditions are just right, it can and will happen.

Traveling in the extreme southeast corner of OK. On back country roads and we ran across a damage path of a tornado that we missed by about 5 minutes. We saw 40 ft. pine trees across the road. Also we saw a potential funnel North North East of that potion in the middle of the forest and mountain range here. Keep you updated.

A tornado passed right over my home town of Duenweg, MO yesterday while I was at the dentist, while another 1 was supposedly starting to form a block from where I was, quite an eventful day I must say, nothing ever really happened though in my town.

I like the way the 0z NAM for Thursday! Looks like it could be huge in N Texas. Showing a HUGE dryline buldge, CAPE bullseye, good backing winds, great dewpoints. And the Trough timing looks decent. Looks awesome hard to complain but it can change.
