Beautiful Pictures. I missed the eclipse because of all the clouds here in Wichita, KS which have now brought more freaking ice and snow.
Great pictures! Luckily our snow event held off and we had a clear night and I had a great view off our deck!
Awesome pictures!! I saw it happen last night it looked incredible ,tryed to take video and pics too but im sure you need a really good light sensor in your camera. what camera did you use Dick?
Incredible photos! It was truly an awesome display. Thanks for sharing Dick's great work Reed. And for the link to his site. I haven't been on it before and it is terrific. It will also link you to the Greensburg recovery effort and a great collection of storm DVD's that can be purchased with some of the sale price going for those recovery efforts. Thanks!
My husband might faint when he sees these, Dick! He had been very geared up to catch the eclipse for several week prior, and then we had clouds last night due to our impending ice storm. He's getting very into night-time photography, and this obviously was the last big chance for a good lunar eclipse for a few years ... VERY nice that you had clear enough skies up in KC. Wow!
Yeah we got enough of a clear night to see a spectacular view last night. The clouds moved in soon after and we are in the midst of a sleet/ice event today. So timing is everything! My son is a photographer and haven't checked yet with him to see if he got some shots last night.
Hey we just got out of school early cuse of the ice storm! man I hope this spring we get out of school early cause of tornadic weather later that day
Crud lol, those make my pics look horrible. Although I expected as much :P
looks like Louisianna could get hit hard today... But where is the MOD risk? 10% tornado, and 30% hail and wind chances...
Man that eclipse was sweet. Looked good in Ohio after 3-5 inches of snow then it cleared off and dropped to -2 but it made for a great viewing. Those pics are awesome he does great work.
Another snow/sleet storm for Ohio for tonight and Friday it seems like every 2-3 days we get precip up here... They are saying 2-4 with sleet mixing in so we will see. Currently it is 18 with hazy sunshine and a snow depth of 3.7in in Fairfield County Ohio.
chicago got a nice view last night
Good pics we had a great view from manitoba
Wow!! Awesome pics! Nice job Dick M. I"ll see you in Pratt on March 1st ;)
It was too cloudy for me to see it very well... ahh, at least someone got a good look of it.
