Shortly before 5 pm earlier today, Enterprise, AL was hit by yet another damaging tornado, causing significant damage to the downtown civic center. As many may recall, Enterprise was hit by an EF4 tornado on March 1, 2007, killing 9 people and injuring over 100.. This area has seen several tornadoes over the last few years, typically on the tail end of convective bands with mature mid-latitude cyclones when sufficient instability resides right along the Gulf Coast. 11 tornadoes were reported so far today, including another in Panama City Beach, FL..
Here is video of the monster tornado that struck Enterprise, AL last year... I doubt today's tornado was even close to this intensity, at least based on the damage description so far. I'll post the damage survey tomorrow as soon as it's available.

hey guys i watched storm chasers last night and i have a suggestions for the guy who goes out and picks up hail. i saw that u got some kind of chest protector but if u got a dirt bike body protectot which is hard plastic and get the 1 that protectes ur shoulders too. it would help him out a lot.
I love lighting storms and tornados, i never seen a tornado. I wanted to be a tornado chaser when i watched the movie twister. i watched that so many times. Well u guys kept take care out there.
O and another thing to protec ur truck. it might help but im not sure but i use it when i go to the demolition on saturdays at our grandparents farm. ok get a steel frame to go around each of ur side and back if u choose. make the frame a inch bigger than the windows. and then weld thick... i dont know what to call it its like fencing that make little diamonds but if u know what im talking it about and get the right stuff u will be ok. and then weld the fencing to the steel frame. then for ur wildshield... we have it were it directlly on the wild shield but we in the woods and stuff just messing around but do the same thing but make it were it is up, paralel with the roof of the truck and make it to were it will go a little past the wind sheid it will protect some of the hood to. after u get all that made up some how sucure it to your truck so that when hail balls are falling and hit ur truck instead of hitting your windows it will hit thr fencing. o and secure it to ur truck about 1 inch from thr truk do that if the hail hits hard enough it will have so give.

I think I would be freaked out. Sucks to be hit like that time after time.
