The latest RUC model is still predicting convective initiation over the next 2-3 hours over the Foothills of Alberta, moving into the Plains by evening.  Initation will likely occur west and northwest of Calgary, and west of Edmonton.  The upper disturbance can be seen on satellite moving across the Rockies of British Columbia, and this disturbance should help initiate the storms.

A line developing from slave lake to wainwright
storms no where near Wetaskiwin if fact it is east of Camrose
I believe more lines will form as the cap is eroded by the jet stream
