Well as I said in my other post....great job. How hard was it to "deal" with the media up there? And for gods sake, tell us how many you have shot this year. I got 46 and Randy got 51....was a great year, although wish I could have gone where you went....again, great job from all of us Outlaws. Lanny
You guys are celebrities up here in Canada. You are all over the news this morning. Good job with that tornado near Pipestone. Your video is amazing. I hope all goes well for you in the coming days.
Hey Rob...the Canadian Prairies sure are beautiful. we need to start growing canola down here!
The morning model runs are not looking as favorable for tornadoes over ND today...the LLJ is forecast to be slightly east of the instability/storms. This is great for the residents here. We'll be monitoring the situation closely and will definitely chase any storm that initiates.
Welcome to beautiful northeast North Dakota. We had a nice cloudburst here in Grand Forks this morning and will no doubt get some more rough weather before the days over. Good luck chasing.

Reed your tornado video made the 6 oclock news here in san diego. That was really the mother of all beast shot that close. In hard to get areas have you guys ever thought about chasing in quads?we don't know here in sd our chasing is to stand on a mountain and take videos of the fog rolling in off the ocean sort of like watching paint dry. anyway we enjoy watching you and joel and some times your fire drills crack us up.good job.
I just had an amazing idea. A reality chasing show with Paris Hilton. Just for the fun of it, Flavor Flav can be thrown in the mix too. This is going to be huge; I'm going to get my people on it stat.
Great cover, until they stuck that no talent twit in the corner with it. I didn't know they had the Canadian version of the National Enquirer up there.
UPDATE: A spokesman for the service told Sky News it had been deluged with calls from "dozens and dozens" of people stranded in rising waters and feared it was the start of a "major incident".
People are passing I think your video from the Elie tornado near winnipeg as the one in pipestone, mb. Can you confirm if you actullay have footage of the tornado in pipestone/baldur, mb?
gm.......Reed's video is of the Pipestone/Baldur tornado. This one happened a day after the Elie tornado, and is the day Reed went chasing here in MB(Saturday, not Friday). Also the Elie tornado was smaller in size. I hope I cleared that up for you.
Thanks for the clarification Jonathan...the tornado we saw was the day after the Elie tornado.
We should have driven north through Winnipeg on our way to our Saturday target and we would have seen both...instead we went northwest through Bismark and Minot into SK.
Jonathan, I believe the Elie tornado was an F4 and the Pipedream's been reported as an F3 by the local environmental media. The Saturday night approach of the second storm was the most severe I've ever seen and the northwestern corner of Winnipeg, where I live, lost at least 15% of it's trees. It's the first time I've seen streetlight standards blown over.
Hey guys. Today the CTV Winnipeg news was pretty much half all about the tornadoes/severe storms on Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Today. That's about 30 min because the news is an hour. They have NEVER done that before, no matter what event happened in the past(as far as I have seen). Apparently the province wants a federal, cross-country warning system for tv, etc. in place to alert people of severe weather. Although this is already being worked on, it's gonna take at least, according to them, another 4-6 years at least to be completed! I think that is too much longer to wait for a simple tv channel warning system to be in place-Alberta set one up for themselves in less time than that!

at 1:37 it looks like a very violent tornado in this report:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQWrtNvKUoo
well I live in morden manitoba and we are under severe weather as I speak, it has been a few crazy days out here.
Thanks Lanny! It's fortunate the tornado remained over rural areas that's for sure.
We're under a severe thunderstorm warning here in Grafton , ND right now (~7:15 am)...very frequent lightning with this line of storms.

Torrential rain and high winds have caused chaos across the UK. latest report 20 people trapped on roof helicopters are being scrambled.
The Weather Channel had a pretty good anaylsis of your video on today and spent some time on it. You guys are the best!
You guys are nuts! Congrats on the footage. I knew Prarie land was good for something! Haha, Keep up the good work.

There is something wrong with seeing Paris Hilton on this website!
LOL! Pair Hilton. Good job on beating Hilton there.
Wow, that's insane. I live in Winnipeg and man there's enough t-storms here. It's crazy!
