Nice going, guys.
I feel compelled to mention that those farther-away videos have their own special qualities too! It was NICE! =D
Be safe tomorrow.
(Sorry if this ends up looking weird. It keeps telling me that I have a tag, and I can't for the life of me find one in the body of this note.)
Great vid! Love that very thin section which comes out of nowhere and then vanishes.
More killer footage Reed!!!! So you weren't up that close...big deal....least you all stayed safe while taping/monitoring. Now...if only we could see that here in Iowa (yawnnnnnn) LOL
A wonderful thing that you can provide this footage to the public just hours if not minutes after a storm. Very enjoyable to view and keep em coming as ya know we can't get enough.
Was a final max wind speed ever assesed for Greensburg?
Greensburg winds estimated near 205 mph (if my memory is correct).
I wish I was there chasing, that storm looked really good.
Beautiful indeed! Very nice, fellas.

Nice video, but it will be nothing to what tomorrow's video will look like if the WRF verifes. Yet another chance at a backyard chase for me here in the TX Panhandle.
Beautiful work guys. Splendid
I think thre is going to be an Upper Ohio Vally Tornado Outbreak on Sunday. Dewpoints near 70, Highs in 80s, Stong Shear up to 200Kts. There are going to be dericho and tornado outbreak. I think there is chance of strong to violent twisters in IN, Ohio, WR PA, Pittsburgh and Ontario.
Does anyone agree with me.
SO where is the tornadovideos.net team going to post up today to wait?
Congrats guys. I wish I could be there
Hey guys love this vid. Saw it on the Weather Channel like 4 times now hehe. Good luck Weather Channel predicting a big outbreak.
Great catch again guys. Just my luck as I head to Alabama for my bro's wedding we here in Ohio are looking at some bad storms on Sat/Sun. Man I just can't catch a break. Oh well have fun these next few days and be careful in what you do.

I have a friend who lived in Martha for most of her life. Needless to say, she has seen many tornados. I showed her and her husband your website last night, and she said that you do some of the most beautiful work she has ever seen! I thought that I would share that complement with you and Joel!
This the Big Time
Rare Tornado Outbreak in Ohio Vally and Mid Atlantic. High Risk day coming up. I will be watching the storms in the Pittsburgh Area. Weather Channel is predicting a Major Outbreak of Large hail over 2 Inches in diamiter, Damaging Winds up 90Mph, and Strong to violent Twisters.
Remember this a BigTime and Major Outbreak is in the Forecast

Thanks for your help.
Yeah, was watching the base velocity for that area in MN and noticed an interesting spot before the warnings came up for Anoka and Hennepin =) I feel good about that, but hope nobody gets hurt or has their house shredded.

We had to pull some evasive maneuvers of our own too. We took a dirt road following the storm before it crossed I-70 and skidded around for 45 minutes or so. I fish tailed twice and we rescued another storm chaser who had slid off into a ditch. Definitely not a fan of the dirt, or should i say mud...
Ben: Our group stopped in Hays for a late dinner at IHOP which was right across the street from the comfort in. The building shook for about 10 minutes and the seen outside with the sideways rain and small debris whipping around was like watching video from a hurricane. A piece of the IHOP roof blew off and although I missed it my fellow chaser Curtis pointed out the window because debris flew off the Comfort Inn.
