...SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD EAST ACROSS THE TRI-STATE AREA THROUGH THE EVENING...
.AN UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM PUSHING INTO THE FOUR CORNERS AREA WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD SNOW AND WIND ACROSS THE TRI-STATE AREA THROUGH THE EVENING INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. VISIBILITIES OF ONE MILE OR LESS WILL BE COMMON IN THE ADVISORY AREA WHERE THE SNOW IS FALLING. SNOW MAY BE MODERATE TO HEAVY AT TIMES IN THE HEAVIER BANDS. VISIBILITIES WITHIN THESE BANDS MAY APPROACH ONE QUARTER MILE AT TIMES. TOTAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS WILL AVERAGE TWO TO THREE INCHES...POSSIBLY A BIT HIGHER IN THE HEAVIER BANDS. MOTORISTS TRAVELING ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR WINTER DRIVING CONDITIONS. THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 70.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Looks like a pretty decent snow band Tonight stretching from Nebraska to Southcentral Minnesota to Central Wisconsin. Could be getn some lake effect snow here in Duluth Tomorrow/Tomorrow Night, favorable E-NE wind develops, temps are a lil marginal though, so not too sure how this will all play out, but definately be keeping an eye on it. Looks like a bigger winter storm later this week, Wisconsin and Iowa look to be under the gun right now.
I would like to apologize for my actions recently on this blog. I had posted my website for public viewing to attract attention, because it wasn't well known. "Well Known" authors on the comments area here brought to my attention the fact that they thought this was spam. I would like to say that I was not intentionally "spamming" this blog, but asking people to review the site, like other regular "posters" here. I believe I did so around five times, and some of those times I was making comments on the current weather as well.
I would also like to say that those comments on my own blog that were negative were a joke (you know which ones they were, I think) I know who posted them and he didn't even really know what he was saying. Also I never copy what Environment Canada forecast, I never even look at their website while forecasting. I do check it everyday but I don't memorize it! Anyway I would like to say that this isn't the place for advertisement and anyone from Manitoba can visit the site because it affects them, not this blog anyway. I once again would like to say that I didn't intentionally spam this site, because as many of you know I posted throughout the summer and still view the website at least twice daily. I just don't post because I have nothing to say about topics from Michigan or Oklahoma. I'll probably only post questions until summer, but no guarantees I'll post at all, but as I said I still view the site daily and will continue to as it is very informative.
Once again sorry for the ill conceived advertising!!

I didn't see anything I'd call spam here!! hmm...
I thought the Outlaw Chasers show was great!! Godd Job Randy and Lanny!
Getting back on "track" now with the Outlaw Chasers. Was that a one time documentary or is there more? I hope there's more ... I'd originally believed the Manchester wedge probe-drop on Youtube somewhere was the first, I didn't know these guys did it before anyone else.
Thanks for the return email Reed. I'll respond either tonight if I don't tire out or tomorrow.
I thought the documentary was great...The footage with the two simultaneous tornadoes was INCREDIBLE! I talked to Lanny and he said that footage was from May 29, 2004, near Conway Springs, KS.
Merry xmas fellow chasers and weather nuts! stay safe and have a fantastic new year. monsoon hitting us Thursday so it's gonna be a wet one! Tropical low probable with a chance of a cyclone New Years day...I wish!
I have gained a new respect for the outlaw chasers! It was a great show. And they are right, if they can help 1 person pay attention to what is going on around them they felt they did thier job. Kudos!
