Tonight's episode of Desperate Housewives, called "The Best DH Episode Ever", features a deadly tornado that roars through Wisteria Lane. The episode airs at 9:00 pm EST (8:00 pm CST), and will include some of TornadoVideos.net's footage (the Manitoba, Canada tornado I believe). While I don't watch this show, it will definitely be interesting to see how they use the footage.
The trailer for the Tornado Episode can be viewed at the URL below.

AAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! I NEVER, NEVER, NEVER watch this show, but I am practically rearranging my life to do so this evening. HILARIOUS! :D !!!!!!!!!
For all the ladies heres another chaser reality show
http://twistersisters.wetv.com/
LOL. You don't have to twist my arm to watch the show. Its my favorite anyway.......and to know your footage is on it all the better!
Thats awesome about tornado footage on DH. Unrelated note... why do all the chicks on DH look like they're (D)esparately trying to retain youth when they've clearly reached their sell by date lol. Biological clock ticking... here comes the TURKEY NECK!!!!!! Stop trying ladies... you're getting OLD! lol AHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Can't wait to watch it on my NEW TV!!! Everyone here is so excited to see this one!!!
You are right Dean - they do look a bit plastic in the photos - but at least nothing will blow off in the wind that is coming.......
How many shows have had a tornado hit??? I think Rosanne had a tornado episode....Where is Wisteria Lane any way?
Yeah Andy, Rosanne had a tornado episode. I'm anxious to watch this too! I've never seen an episode of desperate housewives before...So I'm glad the tornado episode is my first one!
P.S After this, I still wont watch it :)
Kenny i dont plan to watch it at all tonight.
And Dean i agree with you but Eva Longoria is pretty hot.
I remember the Roseanne Episode when they got tornadoed!! That was one of the best shows of all time in my book!! Congrats on making it on DH Reed!! And Thanx again for posting the pics!! Maybe next time it'll be an ugly wedge!! Tim and I both need to lose our tornado virginity next year!! hehe
Congratulations on the footage!! My wife told me about the tornado episode and I 'm gonna watch it. She's addicted but I'd rather watch something else.
Not to offend anybody here, but I agree with Dean!! There's a few "older ladies" around here who pretty much spend every breathing hour at the bars!! And they're always claiming they're WAYYY younger than they really are!!
Now I know I have Peter Pan syndrome bad( I don't wanna grow up) but they just make asses of themselves!! hehe
It's starting! :D
It's been on for a minute, and I now remember why I don't watch much tv!!
lose our tornado virginity, lmao! CLASSIC! I'm finally done digging out, boy it seems like we had more than 9" of snow, maybe my ruler was off? Congrats Brady on making front page of this site, awesome stuff! I see that Grand Marais MN had a WHOPPING 20" of snow out of this storm!! Thanks for the tip about my jeep Brady, my dad and younger bro were testing it out Today, and the 4 wheel drive still wasn't working..
I'll have to make sure to put tape across my windows the next time there's a tornado watch.
This tornado better be good.
WoW!! 20"!!! I would believe it!! This winter is off to a great start here!! I hope it continues through the season!!
Is your 4x4 just not engaging?? is it make any funky noises??
lol it's an old vehicle, 1988, closing in on 230,000 miles! only paid $500 for it, i've had it for 4 years now, but this is the first time that the 4 wheel drive hasn't worked.. It dies on me sometimes if i'm waiting a while at a red light, but it always starts right back up..lol.. thankfully!
I need a drink!!
wow! oklahoma got left out of the BCS title game, hmmmm... Ohio State against LSU in the BCS title game? you have got to be kidding me.. WOW! when will college football have a playoff system?
I hope they start showing wedge footage soon!
Heidi, I have always dreamed of wedge footage on Housewifes lol.
Rainy and windy here in Ohio with .91in of rain today and a gust of 22 suppose to increase to 40-50mph.
Go Bucks LSU SUCKS
I think someone should have explained the difference between a tornado and a hurricane to the writers of DH before they went and did a TV show. AAAAAAAA!!!!!
I like the old lady!!
I was thinking the same thing Heidi!! I'm suffering, but the vid will be worth it!!
Wow, that looked like it had to be the hose TV.net got on planet asjsdfgdhflfg. INTENSE! I'm going to have bad dreams now!
This show makes Atomic Twister look like a PBS Documentary.
boy that lake snow band looks intense along the Southshore of Lake Superior right now, 7 inches since 2 PM Today in parts of Iron County WI.. New 00z NAM looks interesting for Duluth Tuesday-early Wednesday, could see a 3 to 4 inch snowfall from a clipper passing SW of here, and a favorable e-ne wind blowing off Lake Superior causing some lake effect/enhanced snows..., this is sort of a new development though, so i guess it may change...... sorry to interrupt the DH talk..lol
There ought to be a relief fund set up for any weather-enthusiast victims who watched this! It could take years to recover!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!A!!!!!AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!AAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just spent an hour of my life watching THAT and there was NO TV.NET FOOTAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'VE BEEN DECEIVED!!!!! I'LL SUE!!!!!!!!!!
Thanx Tim!! It needed to be interrupted!! It lokked really dark over that way earlier!! I'd like to see how the next few days pans out!! I'm ready for more!! hehe
haha awesome reed! btw I got wickedly soaked and sand blasted today ,although the winds were not of hurricane strenght. Ill be heading back to the main land tomorrow.
WEIRD!! I didn't see any of our footage on there, but I missed a few minutes at the beginning.
Sorry for that Heidi!!! definitely not what I thought it was going to be...wait actually it was.
Well you guys may think the snow's all over..but check out Radar here in Edmonton. I'm going to take pics soon, and maybe some short vids. I'll keep ya updated!

Good night everyone!
Here's the news for the people of the province of Quebec...
Warnings
Gatineau
9:30 PM EST Sunday 2 December 2007
Winter storm warning for
Gatineau continued
..Heavy snow tonight and Monday with ice pellets and freezing rain over southern parts..
This is a warning that dangerous winter weather conditions are imminent or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.
A major winter storm from Colorado is moving over the Great Lakes. This winter storm will continue to bring widespread snow over cottage country to eastern Ontario. Regions near Lake Ontario north to cottage country will continue to see periods of freezing rain before changing over to rain and or wet snow this evening.
Regions over eastern Ontario including Ottawa and Gatineau will continue to see snow today with the heaviest snow falling tonight into Monday morning. Snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 centimetres are possible by Monday morning with an additional 10 to 20 by Monday evening. Total snowfall amounts of 30 to 40 cm are quite possible by Monday evening from this major storm.
Dangerous winter travelling conditions are expected as the snow may possibly be heavy at times which can cause brief whiteout conditions. Furthermore roads will be snow covered and slippery due to freezing rain and ice pellets. Travel plans should be altered accordingly.
As the winter storm moves across eastern Ontario on Monday very strong northwesterly winds will generate intense snow squalls to the Lee of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. These snow squalls will start early Monday morning and thanks to the very strong northwesterly winds will extend inland at times as far as Woodstock Brantford Kitchener and Guelph. Snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 cm per 12 hours are quite likely with lesser amounts of 5 to 10 cm possible further inland. Sudden and frequent whiteout conditions from blowing snow as well as bursts of heavy snow will be a serious problem from these snowsqualls. The snowsqualls will start to weaken on Tuesday and become a bit more confined closer to the lake as the winds diminish somewhat.
There is the possibility that some of these snowsqualls can briefly penetrate even further inland and reach areas such as the greater Toronto area. Travellers are advised to use extreme caution when travelling in these areas as the snow squalls can produce zero visibilities in bursts of heavy snow and blowing snow along with very slippery road conditions.
Environment Canada will continue to monitor the situation as new information arrives.

HAHAHA! It will be my turn monday!!! Yahoo!!
Wow Caro! Sounds intense!
We were thinking about flying to northern Maine, but decided to wait for the storm of the decade.
Please share any photos or video you get!
I filmed a bit of the snow here. Pretty crazy, but according to EC, it's nothing compared to what were suppose to see tomorrow! I'll take pictures and more video tomorrow after school. 10-15 cm's expected tomorrow, another 2 with today, possibly 3-5 more overnight tomorrow. I might have around 23 cm by tuesday morning.
Reed, right at the beginning they showed a twister.
Hi everyone! I'm waking up with a lot of snow outside! COOL ! 4 inches of snow in just 3 hours! Winds are light so the visibility is not so bad. Unfortunately, I have to TRY to go at work today...Maybe I won't be able too... ;-)
I'll try to get meany pictures of this beautiful weather.
I got to go "shovel"...
Looks like a line of snow storms coming again up north here.
Hey guys what up this morning????
I have pictures from the same snow storm that hit Brady on my phone. Just trying to get them to my computer.
Hi Guys! I'm back... roads are too dangerous...many of them are under more than 4 inches of snow and they "forgot" how to use "snowplough"... hahaha I have a good excuse to stay home and go out to take some picutres! Winds are intensifying and the visibility is nil by sections.
Oh my gosh..... A tornado episode on desperate house wifes? That show is gay. Way too much drama for me. But It would have been funny to see the tornado on it.
lol it's funny...roads are too dangerous to go at work but not to go take pictures!
winter storm watch already issued for parts of Northwest and Westcentral MN for Tuesday as the next winter storm takes aim on Minny! I'm thinking we (Duluth) could see 2-5 inches of new snow Tuesday/Tuesday Evening, if the track doesn't change, heck if it pushes slightly more toward the N-E, than snow totals could reach or top the 6" mark here in Duluth.. Make sure you have plenty of fuel in the ol snowmobile there Brady!! Oh, and when i put the jeep into 4 wheel drive there isn't any sound, or nothing i notice at least..
bah...all schools are closed and some roads are too I won't feel bad not going at work! I will have enough time to enjoy this beautiful snowstorm!

Ya the science of storm chasing was on the Science channel last night at 9 so i watched that.
http://ll.static.abc.go.com/streaming/move/00070009/static.html?aff=kspr&affTo=kspr&useexternal=0&channelid=8&episodeid=69835&partner=&campaign=null&wrapped=1&affFrom=abc&affLost=kspr&dmarank=74&dmazip=63941
Okay. I have done something I cannot believe I have done - I have viewed a part of last night's debacle again online!
I had noticed only two occasions when a "tornado" was used in last night's episode, once at the beginning as Kim mentioned, and once near the end. Both times it looked like a computer-generated image. So, in an effort to make sure I had not missed anything important, and knowing that the episode would be viewable online, I went back to check things out.
I believe that the, ahem, "tornado," they used is the Ellis Co. tornado, only they did a fine job at crudding it up with computer-generated graphics at the cloud base, and the bottom of the tube was between "Wisteria Lane" houses. I have included the above link for viewing last night's episode. The presumed TV.net footage can be viewed very early on, so hopefully no permanant scarring results if anyone chooses to do so. If anyone wants tremendous opportunities for laughter, wait until the end when cars start dropping from the sky and people get sucked out of houses. This is so realistic, it makes the famous, climactic "barn scene" out of "Twister" look like Reality-TV.
Yay!!! We are getting it good in maine. We have 4-5 inches already and its not slowing up at all. Pictures soon to come if you all are still following this at all.
(Reed wants to come come to Maine?) :)
Heidi, I don't want to watch it because I know your commentary is 10 times more interesting than the actual show will be.
we had like a in here in nj for some reason as night time came it started getting warmer wat it did is caused all the snow to turn to puddles and melt and snow turned to rain if it had stayed snow we would had alot here i wonder when our next storm gunna be here for a chance of the white stuff
ps this rocks im in school right now while on here gotta love your library
Here is one from 9:30 EST From Lincolnville, ME

Heidi, It is sure not what I AM use to seeing on YOUTUBE. they did muck it up. The did also show that tonado on the tv too.......twice maybe? I will have to watch it again at ABC.com to be sure. I know they showed on on the tv screen at the hospital.....
Hi everyone! I have pictures of the snowstorm here in Montreal... click my name if you wanna see it (they are at the bottom of the page) You can also leave comments under those pictures...
Nice photos Caro! GEEZ you guys with your snow must be loving it! AAAAA!!! :D
Heidi i cant view that video because im canadian. anyways im terribly sick today i feel like my lungs are going to fly out of my mouth any second(tomuch info i know) but im sick and i hate it. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Yep!! on the tv at the hospital!! I seen that!! It was like a whole 5 seconds, but that was the only non- comp generated tube I seen on the show!! Sorry to you DH fans, but that left me shaking my head in an ashamed way!! It was right before that Oh So Amazing fight scene, ya know, The one where the druggy gets stomped by the Doc!! Never mind people are in critical condition from a tornado hit, my wife needs this scrape on her leg looked at now!!
Question Tim MN!! Would this last storm of ours been enough to close the schools?? Seeing as it came on Saturday There wasn't a single mention of schools!! I think because schools haven't closed much lately, yes, but I've had to go to school with more!! Like I says... It isn't so much the snow that closes em here!!
Here the schools are closed for the day...
Nice pics Caro!! Wow!! I like the color in the Christmas tree!! Very nice!!
Thanks Brady! I'll take other pictures tonight...It will be beautiful with the new snow!
AHHHH I wish I was still in Canora. I'm so jealous!!!! At home we're having a snowfall warning of 4 to 8 inches for today!
Here in Regina we're expected inch of snow and some freezing rain. YIKES that is going to be messy :o!
hey reed, finished my video check it out!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vw7prymDHKw
Winds are increasing and the amount of snow is now around 30-35 cm (11-14 inches). Wind raise up the snow and I can't see my front neighbors... so bad my video cam is at work! I can only take pictures...
Cool video Cors! The noise of the wind is impressive!
CORS! It looked like a waterspout right near the end! 8-O (Just a rain shaft?) And I can see that you really did get sandblasted there - that was some cool footage!
thx Heidi! Im not sure I did run down to the beach when I noticed a notch on the radar heading my way and well there it was ,it looked more scary when I looked at it.
Heavy snowfall warning for northren alberta! woot we already got like 5-10 cm...suppost to get 10-15 more
Here is a weird soccer match I think it occured near Wisteria Lane
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSaJHFYj8kA&feature=related#
holy dang i watched the spisode today of dhw and it sucked even wit tornado thing i think like some one sayed atomic twister was better than this movie even though in my opion i really liked atomic twister
Well they droped the snow warning for now... :( :( :( :(
i think schools would've been open during that storm, if it came on a school day Brady, although it seems like the school district is getn softer and softer when it comes to winter storms up in this area, so it wouldn't of shocked me to see them close. More snow coming our way, a bit Tonight, probably a couple inches Tuesday/Tuesday Evening
I heard somewhere that "Twister 2" is in talks of being filmed... and I thought the first one got old after 8 thousand times! lol. This should be interesting... what's up everyone?
Relatively heavy snow NW of me..I'm so mad that it's not going to hit me :(. http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/radar/index_e.html?id=WHK
Hi guys! The snowstorm is over for me... We recieved at least 12 inches of snow! That was a great storm! I took pictures of a part of it this morning when winds weren't to rough. But this afternoon, when things were going really interesting (winds were blowing and lifting up snow,so I couldn't see my front neighbors), the snow was to heavy to bring my camera outside...If you want to see my pictures of this morning, click on my name. They are at the bottom of the page. I'll try to take "aftermath" pictures tomorrow.
im in for some twister 2 and looks like that is true i think cuz search it up and found one section for it
Yeah I don't watch this show eaither... REED I'VE SEEN SOME OF YOUR FOOTAGE EVERY WERE YOUR FAMOS MAN FAMOS in the words of heidi AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Great pictures Caro! We have a 30% chance of snow on Wenesday. My luck they will shut the schools down. They always seem too, with just the hint of the white stuff. alkdjalkfhgl.
lol justin if they make a twister 2- it better have a better plot, more realistic-looking tornados- i realize that there computer generated tornados - and i know they can shift, and can dissapate when the go into less unstable air- but come on- the only thing that was good off that movie was the soundtrack
i had liked the whole movie even though seen it alot but i like tornado movies favoit one is night of the twisters any of you see that movie before? cuz i proubly think u have
