I'll miss you guys after tonight, as I've enjoyed every one of your episodes. Hope you can get Dr. Josh and his DOW on next season's series--I always thought he was interesting. In that last episode with him, it sure looked as though he and Sean were going to get into it.

Reed, going to miss your guys. Can't wait for Argentina footage. It's a long time until next season though. You guys are the best.

I'm not gonna' miss 'em. I have every one of them recorded, and we'll watch them every week. When you get old, every time you watch an episode, it's brand new!
Love to all... Uncle Jim

And Reed, you need to delete some friends on your FaceBook account to make room for me and Ain't Donna.

Reed this is going to be the best season finale EVER. You intercepted one hell of a tornado and it was amazing. I love it. Keep on Dominating=]

This is so badass. Watching it right now Tim Samarais just dropped a probe right in front of it and Reed's windshield blew right out. That damn Tornado was truly a MONSTER!! I can't believe what I am seeing. Really happy Sean Casey got his shot. Yeah if he had been with TVN he would've got that shot a long time ago but at least he got it and I was happy for him. I hope to see TIV team back even though Sean got his shot. We need an ass hat in the show for comic relief purposes lol.

Wow!! That was insane! You guys rock...way to dominate! :)

Now THAT'S what Storm Chasers should be! IMO, the first couple of episodes were really slow-moving and focused on too much drama. These 2 hours were all about tornadoes and were INSANELY intense. Great job guys and I only wish there were more episodes in every season!

wow reed what a spectacular was to end the season. Can't imagine the show with out TVN aka the first season. I remember reading about the window back when it happened but man to actually see it and see what lead up to it wow... But leave it to TVN and Tim Samaras to end the season on a great note. And I am happy for Sean too. Can't wait to see you all next year, and i will definatly be watching the live feed on TVN next year to catch more tornadoes. Have a good offseason TVN looking foward to the reports from South America, stay safe and healthy while you all are down there. Great to see you all are keeping busy, and great to see Gizmo join the team, she is soooo cute...( wow don't I sound like a 17 year old school girl):-)

I love that Reed has a fuzzy steering wheel cover on what is probably the most manimal civilian vehicle on the planet. Great irony.

Ive never actually found myself sweating through the commercials of a television show before.

Samaras had it right - Reed and Co have "Balls of Titanium!" Amazing intercepts!

A few questions/comments though:

1. Did anyone else notice that in the WY intercept that they did not raise the Lexan windows in the Dominator, instead just relying on the glass Tahoe windows which obviously blew out in NE episode?

2. Sorry, but this is the chemistry professor geek in me coming through. You guys have to have collected some amazing data, but a scientist's real measure is to publish a paper in a peer-reviewed journal. Has any of the data you collected been published yet? If so, where?

two other questions/points:

3. Finally, the Reed/Joel thing. Joel got slagged by a bunch of folks earlier in the season, but the answer seems simple. For Reed, tornado chasing is his life, his career, his vocation. For Joel, the allure wore off and it is now simply a hobby, an avocation, something to do on the weekends. I cannot begin to imagine driving tens of thousands of miles a year for something that might last for a few minutes. Perhaps the adrenaline rush is worth it, but for Joel it got old?

4. It is going to be hard to top this season, short of driving into an EF-4 or higher. where do you guys go from here?

The above said, great work! From an Okie now living in OR.

It was AWESOME seeing the footage from the storm that me and my team also shot that day, only hundreds of yards behind the TVN team.

It is very exciting seeing everyone collecting their data to help study these storms and we hope to be a part of that data collection in the years to come.

Great Job Guys!

I was on the edge of my seat for the entire 2 episodes. Great season for everyone on the show and the producers and cinematographers! The video Reed took and the film crew took were completely amazing! Props to Sean and his team, that was an amazing moment. Will you or have you posted your findings from the information gathered?

Thank you for making this show what it should have been from day one. I'm glad Sean finally got his shot but the TVN team is the dominating team. You do have "Balls of Steel"!

Stay safe,
Fitz

Great show tonight on Discovery. I watched the show twice tonight and loved every minute of it. I plan to keep up with the newest updates from this site on next year's tornado season. At one time I was terrified of storms when I was younger. I lived in Western PA and experienced a strong EF3 tornado on November 10, 2002. I was working at the time. The electricity went out and the winds were howling terribly. We heard ambulances and emergency vehicles racing up the road. The tornado touched down barely a half mile from my job. The tornado started in the middle of the lake and gained strength and tore up a little village and killed one man. Ever since then I respect storms, but never could storm chase. So, I'll watch you and your "nerves of steel" to chase for all of your fans. Good luck next storm season. Stay safe Reed and all the storm chasers on Discovery Storm Chasers!

Those were AMAZING episodes.. Congrats to all the SC chasers. Tim Samaras is an amazing part of the show... and yes.. Sean did do some good work too. Be interesting to hear about the data gathered from those airborne probes. Great job to all that worked so hard to compile all the footage for this series. Cheers to all.
