TVN documented multiple tornadoes just southeast of Swift Current, Saskatchewan yesterday, June 26, 2012, including one relatively large cone tornado that caused transformer explosions and destroyed a silo before becoming concealed in a shroud of rain.  These high-precipitaiton or HP supercells developed along a cold front surging east across the Canadian Prairies, behind a "renegade" supercell to the east all by itself that produced a large tornado near Moose Jaw, SK.  It looks like 2012 will be an active season across southern Canada east of the Rocky Mountains as the long-range forecast models are showing yet another upper-level trough moving in for early next week.  Never stop chasing!
