No worries Reed! Get your school work done... I have to convince myself of that every day too b/c there are WAY more fun things to do. But it will all pay off in the end. What is your dissertation on?

yes, I saw that South Dakota has a tornado watch in effect, and there was already some activity reported.

Looking at the 12hr models the LLJ is somewhat strong 80kt and CAPE values are very high. This could be a pretty strong out break! we could see a few tornadoes some wich could be strong!

Reed, I know how you feel.... its weird when you go out and do something for long periods of time, and enjoy doing it, and then come home... you kinda have no idea what to do! My dad travels a lot in concentrated times, and its weird about the first week, maybe 2. i honestly have not experienced it myself to that extreme, but I understand it
