I miss you guys too! I managed to get on for a short period today . . . took a nap and bam, I fell off, into the abyss of Chat Room withdrawal.

I was so lost without my chat this morning, I managed to nearly give myself whiplash slipping on the grass this morning. This has gone too far!!! xD

Well, at least this didn't happen yesterday, like wotan said.

And I'll get to do other stuff . . . like work on homework and freeze to death in my room!

I've noticed that during severe weather events, the TVN site gets slow and sometimes unresponsive. TVN chat doesn't load at all. My good friend Grady(DasFamiliar) suggested using IRC for the chat. He along with several others, including myself, help run a great IRC network. We are gearing it towards weather. If needed, chat rooms can be created there and admins from the current TVN chat can move over to IRC chat. IRC chat allows a lot more control over chat. There are also flash chats that can be embedded on the site.

Missed you all today it was so quite I was scared.. I mean 4 people in chat now I can't get in but hope it is fixed by morning..

Without chat, I may have to resort to cleaning the house or reading when I get home from work!
