I am at the lake house today! We are planning to stay long enough for me to get some great star trails!

There is just a small breeze which I hope will die down tonight so the stars might reflect off the water. It is a pipe dream, but it could happen.

But for right now I am going to enjoy the beautiful weather!

amazing pics Mate, they're great, even my Mrs likes them!!!!
not got a problem as I've found out my New Camera doesn't have a timed exposure function .. bloody kodak!!

There is a bunch of stuff I have to check before I let it do it's thing, and I just completely forgot about the focus.

It would have been a lot better if I did, but what the hay. To late to change anything now.

This may help you in visualizing the lake.



I took the pictures yesterday and put them together in my new, completely awesome panoramic picture program, Hugin.

It is kind of small because Photobucket had to shirnk it down to one Mb.
