Reports are beginning to surface of a Large Tornado which formed in Oxfordshire, UK during this past monday. Although the media are reporting it as a tornado, I've yet to see any other reports which show it on the ground or any damage caused by it.

Apparently it came from a "US Style supercell" which are rare here in the UK, although we get more tornadoes per square mile compared to America most are comparitively week and most are only ever rated around F0/F1.

Most Meterologists believe ( and I believe) that it was a supercell (albeit a tiny one), based upon radar and observations. And regarding the tornado, I reckon it was definitly on the ground, from the videos that I've seen. I'm just gutted that I missed it, Oxfordshire is about 40 miles north of me...
