Today's video should be quite interesting too, although the cloud growth won't be as dramatic as yesterday's so it could be disappointing in comparison. Also I had to reboot the server today after installing updates and a new kernel, so there will be a small glitch in today's vid whilst the server was down for 5 or so minutes.

Some more nice looking skies up this way this afternoon, after the showers past, and some more impressive cumulous formations, but not a patch on yesterday! i got out for a walk tonight, seeing as we're expecting a wet couple of days ahead!

Came back to find some little turds had tried to egg my fifeweather weathercam! Thankfully they missed, but they hit my son's bedroom window instead. Poor kid wondered what had happened, as an egg thrown 30 feet makes quite the bang when it hits glass! I hate school holidays!

Done nothing myself on the weather today, knew nothing was happening really but gave me chance to do some decorating. Never mind eh!

Had some more nice CB's here later on in the night (about 4.30pm) snapped a few more rotten camera phone pics but I can't find my phone to post haha!

I hope we get some proper STORMS soon, as getting excited about the big fluffies is a little sad.

Not wanting to drive everybody nuts with these, but I've put yesterday's vid up on youtube too. There is a really nice little band of cumulous cloud that develops right in front of the weathercam (upper third of frame) about the 09:30-10:00 timestamp. It's also nice to see the bands of rain flying through in the early-mid afternoon. There is a small glitch in this one due to me having to down the server to apply software updates:



With all this rain forecast for the next while, I'm not expecting to see anything overly exciting in the time-lapse videos for the next few days.
