The day started out normal but by afternoon, around 3:20PM CDT clouds were darkening.
I go out and take photos and look down to my west I see something odd so I click to video and from this moment on I caught what is my first funnel and wall cloud. Though not really organized I have a local news and another chaser to back up my claim.

This is a screen shot of when the funnel was more pronounced. There was no warning but I found the atmosphere acting strange. Winds were a little calm and started to pick up about the time the funnel formed. It was also cooling down a bit and the clouds were taking shape.

I do have more photos to upload.

Jeff sweet video, I saw pretty much the same thing here near Miami, OK. The thing is I think you caught a classic scud formation. See how there is very little to no rotation, and it hangs out in the same spot for a very long time.

I could be wrong I'm not expert, but it just seems a little too un-organized to be a funnel. Who knows tho, it still looks pretty darn cool!!

Actually someone did a motion test on it and it does have very little rotation. The thing is I think this was allot further out than I think and the rain hampers what you see. Another person, the only person I know of, filmed the same thing about 215 to 20 miles to my west and he was facing east. They said it had some rotation but it wasn't to strong at all and would never of sat down.

The news has the vid, I have mine and I do have a few people saying there was the rotation. I just want to see what the other person caught, it was at the same time when I caught mine, as I checked with the news.

Great video, Jeff! That's a very nice cloud formation there. Though, as a trained spotter who's seen quite a few deceptive "fake funnels" and generally low hanging scud clouds, I have to say that this was probably a really deceptive scud formation. As Fin said, it's not moving much if at all and it's not rotating at all. These are interesting clouds to watch, nonetheless.

I would have to agree. It does appear scud-like.

Still a great video, Jeff!!
