Re:Tornado Chasers premieres tomorrow! September 19, 2012
Sep 18 2012 19:51:44 I really like the opening credits. Good job. It reflects more of what the work you three do is all about, than Discovery ever did.

Re:Tornado Chasers premieres tomorrow! September 19, 2012
Sep 21 2012 03:10:20 I could not wait to rent it as soon as I got an email about it. I hope the episodes get compiled on a DVD at the end of the season.
I enjoyed seeing Reed and Chris chasing again. It dragged a little too long on filler material - do we really need to see Reed dispensing a soda for himself? I don't think so. I loved that they showed boom and bust. For those who complained about Reed being too loud on Discovery, it was great to see a less manic Reed on this show. This show was more like the Reed in his book than the Reed on Discovery. Loved seeing more of Chris! I was saddened to hear Reed dis Joel. That was unnecessary. Joel's life is not in meteorology and he has to do what he has to do to go on with life. Reed is doing creative things to make a go of his own love - Storm Chasing. Please, no more Joel bashing on the eps. Last complaint: episode was too short!! Need more! And next episode: Ginger Zee? Er....thanks for the warning. I won't be tuning in for those episodes. And Chris! Sit firm! Don't give up your seat! |

Re:Tornado Chasers premieres tomorrow! September 19, 2012
Sep 22 2012 16:40:07 If Reed seems less manic, I'm sure that's because he's doubtless older, wiser, and more mature than he was when he first started chasing. Plus, getting up close and personal with destructive tornadoes that devastated people's lives in 2010 and 2011 would be a sobering experience for anyone.
That said, I'm sure we'll be seeing the "manic" Reed of old soon enough. I, too, miss Joel and hope he'll put in an appearance from time to time. |
