reed_128December 29th was the second chase day for the Argentina crew, and they saw several nice storms on the Pampas. Here are a collection of photos from near the areas of Rio Cuerto, Cordoba, and a photo of the damage from the tornado they saw near Santa Rosa on December 27th.

Reed will be giving a presentation at the Bureau of Meteorology today in Buenos Aires, then they expect a few down days. However, they are anticipating the first week of 2010 to be quite active, as the GFS has been showing a powerful system moving in on around Jan 4-6 or so.

I love the pics. The weather here in WI is SO boring! I wish I could chase along with you and see some interesting weather for once. I have only seen one tornado, and that was out of state (FL). Good luck with more great weather.

Lol: Warsteiner beer from Germany (just noticed the sign on the second photo at the bottom row). The main brewery is not that far away from me.

Good luck in Argentina!
If there are no storms, you can train your manual shifting skills ;-P. But by the way: most european-style vehicles have front-wheel-drive. If you've got some with rwd it could get really problematic in some cases.

Best wishes
