As almost everyone knows, David Drummond and Ben Holcomb also had an AMAZING chase last night in the Texas Panhandle! Their video can be viewed above. This tornado crossed the road roughly 200 yards behind them!
Below is Verne Carlson's video from the Garden City, KS area! Verne encountered golfball-sized hail that accumulated in 4" drifts, along with numerous landspouts and gustnadoes!
Additional watches appear likely in Oklahoma and parts of north Texas, where chasers are positioned awaiting initiation. We'll be sure to post updates as they come in - stay tuned!

Just thinking now of how many times I said amazing... is that word starting to sound funny to you? |

May 08 2009 21:37:16 We also chased that day. Check out our website (wolfweather.org) for our video of that chase. At the end of the video you can see something... looks like a tornado to us, but the SPC did not have a report of one in that area... Tell us what you think it was...
