TVN captured this AMAZING footage of two photogenic tornadoes in western Oklahoma yesterday afternoon. The first tornado began as a beautiful elephant trunk similar to the famous Mulvane, KS tornado from 2004, and eerily reminiscent of the Ellis County, OK tornado from May 4, 2007. The tornado crossed the road only 50 YARDS in front of the SRV!! It then lifted, only to re-form into a much larger tornado that was at times close to a quarter-mile wide.
Multiple teams of chasers were in the area yesterday, including Dick McGowan of TornadoLive, who got this outstanding photo. Check out more of Dick's work at his blog http://stackedplates.blogspot.com/

The Stormchasers series left me near speechless many times. But that has to be one of the best videos i have ever seen.
WOW !
To see the trees being shredded and hear Joel gunning the SRV together with the Tornado right there...!!
AMAZING !
Sometimes the good ones take a bit of patience.. This one is a level "10" !!! Great job Reed..
TVN rules on tornado videos... Second to none.. Cheers.
They make a great team and i have to admit i had a giggle when they simultaneously shouted 'IT'S A HUGE TORNADO', lol!
Keep doing what you are doing and stay safe! N x
Thanks for sharing
U guys B safe out there !
I cant wait to see it on storm chasers
OH, and stream one was allowing TVN to pass ahead, although it may have been somewhat dangerous with the amount of chasers behind, whoops!
Nice job as always!
I was doing my best to keep up with the streams yesterday but didn't have the best luck, but this was well worth the wait to see the footage. Just curious how successful you all were with taking measurements via the Dominator being so close?
You guys are the 27 Yankees of twisters.
