A strong dryline is expected to develop this afternoon, extending from eastern Colorado into west Texas. With moisture continuing to creep into the area, the chances for widespread severe weather are looking more favorable. While large hail will likely be the main threat, tornadoes will also be possible, especially after sunset, given the high shear that is forecast to be in place. BTW, I'm in Amarillo and watching all of this head this way. It's exciting on one hand and a little scary on the other.
Edit:It's better now but before it was really incredible how much hail there was!Good luck all the chasers out there!
- yeah Randy's looking good right now..
