A rather large trough will beimpacting the region, and ahead of it,ample moisture is projected to reach into west-central Missouri with the help of strong southeasterly surface winds concentrated around a surface low that is expected to take shape on the KS/MO border tomorrow afternoon.Instability is expected to build ahead of the trough, with CAPE in excess of 1,000 J/kg expected as far north as the Kansas City area. Strong shear will be in place, so rotating thunderstorms capable of tornadoes will be possible tomorrow afternoon into early Thursday. We're expecting a number of chasers to be out tomorrow, so be sure to follow along on the Live page!
UPDATE! More extreme video from the StormChase.TV chase team!

Yeah the winds aloft are veering or backing! The winds are turning clockwise with height this is usally prime for tornadoes!

Awesome video!

And may I add a special THANK YOU to the storm chasers who use "acceptable swear words" (dang, Holy Cow, oh my gosh) instead of the real deal. I know it's hard when you're excited about something, but for those of us who like clean language, you are greatly appreciated!
