Tornado watches are currently in effect from northern Mississippi across central Tennessee, Kentucky and into southern West Virginia as yesterday's system continues to move east. The models severely overstated the available moisture in yesterday's setup, leading to anemic storms that fired ahead of the main squall line. Today the threat appears to be mostly from damaging winds, but tornadoes cannot be ruled out.
Also, here are some photos taken a while ago at CNN headquarters in Atlanta, as Reed was being interviewed by CNN's Chad Myers as part of the Dominator's National Press Tour! (Click "Read More")

Re:Severe weather threat continues today! Plus photos from CNN HQ!
Oct 09 2009 20:22:14 Well, aside from the severe weather causing havoc and mayhem for a lot of people today, I can't help but smile large at the pix of Reed and his Dominator with the CNN logo behind.
What a treat this all must be for him and his crew. Thanks, Heidi |

Oct 10 2009 14:15:37 Man.... the day AFTER I leave the state, it decides to tornado watch RIGHT over my house and surrounding areas... you can imagine I was pretty upset =) there was a reported funnel cloud to the north of my house. Oh well... I will get to see a tornado some day... preferably this spring!
