As many of you know, Dick McGowan and Darin Brunin of TornadoLive.com were among those who chased the extraordinary Grand Island-Aurora, NE supercell on June 17 of this year. Dick recently put together a time lapse of their chase, providing a unique perspective on what it's like to hunt down and stay with a tornadic supercell! You'll notice the TVN SRV "Dominator" at several points during the video as well! (Dick and Darin were right behind the Dominator during the Aurora intercept, capturing incredible footage of TVN in action!)

Sep 27 2009 19:12:57 Oh yeah. Uh - HUH! This one gets Five Stars!
Perfect music set to the time-lapse - the bass licks seem almost part of the rotation. I love it!! Gonna watch this clip over and over again. Oh. And did you see those crazy people in the funny red truck thingy?!! They're insane!! Thanks, Heidi |
