Check out this just-uploaded video of the May 3, 1999 tornado outbreak from Scott Currens of ViolentPlains.com! Scott chased "Storm A" during the historic event, starting out near Cement, Oklahoma, where he observed an F-3 tornado, then moved northeast with the storm, documenting the damaging Chickasha F-2 and finally the Bridge Creek F-5. Scott's highlight DVD, "Get Out and Film It!" covers some of the most incredible tornadoes of the past 10 years, and is also available by accessing the Store tab above. bigoutbreak

Wow. What a day that was. I've read so many chaser's accounts of it, and I know this one evening was so intense in so many ways they'll never, ever forget it.

I've just finished reading Roger Edwards webpage report on this event. He and Rich Thompson were on this one that day too. Soon to read their formal overview for NOAA/NWS SPC. I've got to learn to pace myself so I have something tornado related to read over the winter!

Anyway, regarding Scott Curren's video, which this thread is about; I was just eying it in TVN's store the other day. Now that I've seen this clip, I think I'll seriously consider adding it to my own little wish list. If it covers 10 years of storm chasing documented this well, I want it.
Thanks, Heidi!

PS
I'm going to have to get my own tv/dvd player and set them up in an empty room in my house to view all my tornado/storm related dvds. The hubby and son are starting to look at me like I need to be committed.
