Supercells have begun to explode over the high Plains this evening, with the most dominating storm currently riding on the Nebraska/Colorado border southeast of Sidney! A tornado warning was just issued as the circulation has really tightened up over the last few scans. Verne Carlson is en-route and should have a live look at this storm shortly! In addition, a tornado watch is in place for all of western Nebraska and southwest South Dakota, with another watch likely to be issued for points south. Extensive severe thunderstorm watches are currently blanketing parts of the Rocky Mountains, from southern Idaho all the way into central Montana!
