Here is video shot from Norman, OK, which picked up about .25-.50 inches of ice, and a few inches of sleet on top of that, as shot by John Harris of TVN. As you can see from the video, the road conditions were extremely treacherous if not nearly impassable.
While the ice storm in Central OK was still extreme, the brunt of the storm was further east over the Ozark Mountains into the Ohio River Valley, where the ice accumulation was measured in inches. I spoke to Heidi earlier this evening and she said nearly every tree in her yard was either down or sustained serious damage, and she said to expect some insane video tomorrow!
