Having recently returned home to Switzerland after documenting the total eclipse in China ("Read more" for video!), Extreme Tornado Tours guide Olivier Staiger, aka Klipsi, caught these AMAZING cloud-to-ground lighting photos during a thunderstorm in Sion, Switzerland!

Severe weather is possible today over portions of the high Plains and lower Mississippi valley region. ...
East of the Front Range in Colorado southward into the Texas Panhandle and southeast New Mexico will be the most likely area for tornadoes today. An area right around the CO//NM/OK/TX border looks especially interesting this afternoon, where LCL heights will be the lowest and 0-3km EHI is highest. Supercell thunderstorms will be possible early on, but the expectation is that the storms will ultimately congeal into abroader convective system; farther eastin the Arklatex region,an MCS/MCV is ongoing, and will continue pushing southeast as the day progresses, bringing a threat for heavy rains and damaging winds.
As promised, below is Klipsi's AMAZING eclipse video from China!!
