Don't forget to check out the Storm Chasers marathon on Discovery Channel today (Saturday) starting with the very first episode of season 1 at 11:00 am Eastern!  The first four episodes feature Sean and the TIV during the record-breaking 2007 season, and we all know what happened last year.  Of course this up-coming season will blow both of them out of the water!  (airs starting this October).  AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Also, Verne Carlson chased an INCREDIBLE long-lived supercell across multiple counties in eastern Colorado yesterday afternoon and into the evening, documenting amazing structure, huge rotating wall clouds, baseball-sized hail and dangerous straight-line winds. At one point his live video stream showed a rapidly rotating, low-hanging wall cloud, and looked as though a tornado was imminent. Radar presented a strong velocity couplet at the same time, but enormous amounts of dust being kicked up beneath the storm caused reduced visibility, so no tornado could be confirmed.
