Re:Amazing supercell in Colorado! Check out live stream
Jun 13 2009 01:36:47 I had such a blast watching the Verne Carlson's live stream last evening. He's got a lot of guts - no shrinking back for him. He positions where he needs to and gets the job done.
I found myself talking to myself about what I was seeing (one disadvantage of the lack of sound on the streams), and I jumped from radar, to stream, to posting warnings, and back around. Later, I watched Verne back into the cottonwoods and film what surely appeared to be a rain wrapped tornado (no matter what the WC was saying) and saw the hail bouncing on the road in front of him. Very, very exciting. ~Jo~ |

All we got was a couple of marginal funnels on the east side of Aurora CO about 1:40 pm... other than that... a bunch of hail and C to G's... Nah! This day was crap for us.. Cheers..
