On that note, I'll leave you with a photo, (below) that I took, of one of the most beautiful shelf clouds I've ever witnessed on July 2, 2011 near Torrington, Wyoming. This photo does not do justice of what it was like out there--click to enlarge!  This photo appears in TVN's 2012 calendar as well!

I adore my TVN calendar! There's also a very lovely shot taken by our own Heidi Farrar of a blissful snow scene in AR. for December.
