04april2010_supercellSupercells are exploding just to the northeast of Kansas City, with the storm at right moving into Ray Co, MO is showing strengthening low-level rotation on SRV as of shortly after 5 pm CDT.  TornadoVideos.net live streamers are all over these storms...  check out TornadoVideos.net/live for their realtime video of these supercells as they traverse northern MO this evening.  As I'm writing this Chad Cowan (ChaseTheStorms.com) was underneath a supercell with massive rainfree base!  The Dominator had a few issues that had to be fixed, but we'll be heading out of town at 5 am for southwest Iowa tomorrow.  Stay tuned for updates!

In a previous comment, El Nino was mentioned, but one TV meteorologist said he thought the little nino was disappearing for now, which would make storm activity in the tropical Atlantic more intense this summer & fall.
