Here are two videos of the Dominator revamp process underway right now near Grand Rapids, MI.  Terry Rosema, Kevin and Rob Barton, Ben Christie and his dad, have been working day and night to have the vehicle ready by storm season.  The shell has been reshaped to be much more aerodynamic from the rear, and several functional enhancements have been made, but we still have a LONG way to go in terms of engine improvements, electronics, and other safety-enhancement features.  Wait until you see this thing!!!!

Kevin Barton and gang are doing a great job! We have enjoyed keeping up with these posts as well as having great meals at Casey's Diner.

I hope you don't get too carried away like the TIV. I thought the dominator was awesome because it was light, mobile, quick, and reliable. now Im thinking its getting too carried away. thats a lot of stuff on a unibody trailblazer. Why don't you guys buy a armored humvee?

its not a trailblazer man its a 2007 tahoe with either the 5.3L engine or the 5.7L engine those are the only two engines you can get for the tahoe oh and its not unibody its fullframe and so is the trailblazer

more mods more breakowns and unreliability. hopfully your not on the side of the road like the TIV.

what engine modifications are you doing i may have some suggestions for you that will give you more horsepower and torque for all the extra wieght you are hauling around i have the same tahoe and same engine and when i haul stuff i found that the heavier the load the more sluggish the engine felt especially going up hills. so i put a 73mm sts turbo system on my tahoe and it made a BIG difference i am out hauling most diesels now. anyways hope you read this and let me know what you think
