12.14.09.radarScattered thunderstorms are occurring today across the central Gulf Coast area, but widespread severe weather is not expected. Otherwise it's mostly calm around most of the U.S., with someLake-effect and mountain snow here and there. Now is the perfect opportunity to take a look at the most recent videos from last week's extreme snow event in western Michigan! Check out what Reed and Chris were up to during the blizzard warnings, and they tested the Dominator out in some pretty nasty conditions. We'll be updating the iPhone app as well, including some hilarious down-time footage from this weekend that you do not want to miss! Also, don't forget to visit the TVN store for your last-minute holiday shopping! The 12-days of TVN sale is on-going through the 18th, with great deals every day, so don't miss out!

0 #3 SkyEyeJo 2009-12-14 16:01 Compared to the live stream - this is the touch the video needed - the sound of the waves whooshing into the shore.
The *blingbling* of the chat room was just uh…

0 #4 rtunas67 2009-12-14 17:06 Reed you need to tell them the truth that this is just a minor snow event for West Michigan. I know you have lived through many in Michigan that make this look like minor flurries. I remember one in 1967 that left Kalamazoo with 12 foot drifts and again another one in I believe 1977 that dumped close to 36 inches in three days shutting down Grand Rapids

0 #6 Thunderfox 2009-12-14 23:44 Home sweet home.. Well I live in southeast MI and we didn't get hit that bad. It was really windy though. The snow was moving like a serpent, turning on streets. it was really cool to watch.
