Here is a behind the scenes video of our production crew during storm chasers..  This what it's like in between chases, during the moments that typically don't make the show.

I feel the same way, I honestly would love to sit and watch this as its way more intimate. You can tell Reed is a super nice guy and very humble. You don't get that as much from the show since its drama and GO GO GO all the time!

What I would give to sit in the backseat of the Dom and be a part of the film crew. They are so LUCKY! And they get paid for it!

I would LOVE to see a 1-2 hour special on behind the scenes! I can't get enough of watching Storm Chasers! It's always over way too soon, then I have to wait until the next fall to see it again! So sad! =(

it's amazing to see what goes on aside from the heart-pounding chases on the show. rather insightful video, thanks for posting.

Wow! That Wired video and commentary from Reed is really right on point. Reed, if you are reading this, did you get your dissertation, and PhD?

Great link crazyhorse and outstanding article Reed! One thing I would like to see more is the data you received from these risks and experiments. It is very interesting to know that you are gathering data from all angles within the same tornatic cell. I bet the research and concluding data can get very interesting.

cool! it must be fun and interesting to hang around with Reed and Chris all day, plus you get to see the sights on the plains and great storms. Great job camera crew, Reed, Chris and all the other teamates in the field. And lets not forget Twistex, those guys are really cool, I look forward to seeing all of you next season, until then, happy chasing!
